Agency settings
The Administration section is where admins shape the workspace: identity and defaults, how people sign in, the task statuses and labels everyone shares, and integrations. Each page is gated by its own permission.
General
Administration → General holds the agency-wide defaults:
- Agency logo and name, shown in the sidebar.
- Agency timezone, the fallback for anyone who hasn't set their own.
- Default hourly rate: what clients fall back to when they don't have their own rate.
- Working hours per day and week starts on, which shape timesheets and calendars.
- Utilisation target (%): the realistic fraction of hours treated as available in the capacity report.
- Enable job numbers: adds an optional free-form job number field to tasks, for agencies that reconcile against an external job system.
- Hide done tasks after: how long completed tasks linger on boards (from never to 90 days).
Authentication
Administration → Authentication controls how people get in:
- Login methods: allow Google sign-in, email/password, or both (at least one must stay on).
- Allowed email domains: restrict sign-ups to your domains, e.g.
acme.com. - Invite only: when on, nobody joins without an invitation. When off, self-signup is open (domain-restricted if set) and you choose the default role new users receive.
Task statuses
Administration → Task Statuses defines the columns of the board. Each status has a name, a colour, and a category (Backlog, To Do, In Progress, Review, Approved, Done) that tells Every how to treat it: categories drive which tasks count as open work, what "overdue" means, and where Needs My Input looks for review-ready tasks.
Statuses can be agency-wide or department-specific, are reordered by dragging, and one per category can be the default. Deleting a status makes you reassign its tasks first, so nothing is orphaned.
Labels
Administration → Labels manages the shared label set: name and colour, nothing more. Keeping creation admin-side is deliberate; a curated dozen labels beats three hundred half-duplicates.
Integrations
Administration → Integrations is where GitHub and Bitbucket get connected, and where the MCP server for AI assistants is controlled at the environment level.
Team and roles
Managing people and permissions gets its own page: see Team, roles & permissions.
